The Gilbert Bayes Award for early career sculptors is given annually by the Society to a small group of outstandingly talented sculptors.

HomoFaber (Michaelangelo Foundation)

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

Invited by Michelaangelo Foundation to become part of their community of elite master craftspeople. Listed as a Master Artisan in the Homo Faber Guide.

The Homo Faber Guide is a signature project developed by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, an international non-profit organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland.

 

The Michelangelo Foundation’s mission is to celebrate and preserve master craftsmanship, and for this reason it has created a European map of the most significant representatives in this field, with the aim of connecting all its protagonists: artisans, designers, gallery owners, art curators, collectors and enthusiasts of high-quality handmade pieces.

Fresh Legs Berlin 2022

A collaboration between Galleri Heike Arndt DK and INSELGALERIE Berlin, Fresh Legs is a showcase of 70 international artist showcasing a range of artworks, including paintings, drawings, photography, videography and other related fields

Fair Art Fair Curated II WOMXN

This show is a physical manifestation of the Fair Art Fair digital platform, with the collection of works being chosen from artists on the app and curated by Jo Baring and Beth Greenacre.

Willesden Gallery - Freedom's Flight

Location: Willesden Gallery, 95 High Road London NW10 2SF 

Dates: 21st September - 2nd October 2021

Made in the year of the Pandemic Srabani’s exhibition of ceramic sculpture and large mixed media works on paper, Freedom’s Flight  was hosted at Willesden Gallery. The show raised funds and awareness for the women of Navchetna combating deadly shortages in essential support and supplies due to COVID-19 in rural Maharashtra (India).

Royal Academy Summer Exhibition

Location:  Burlington House, Piccadilly, Mayfair, London W1J 0BD

Dates: 10th June -12th August 2019

Srabani's sculpture Gwendolene from the Blowing in the Wind series (2019) made the final selection out of the  year's 16000 entries and was on show as part of the Royal Academy's 251th Summer Exhibition.

Summer Pop-Up - Jaama Blowing in the Wind

Location: 198 Kensington Park Road London W11 1NN 

Dates: 14th June - 7th July 2019

To coincide with her participation at this year's RA Summer Exhibition Srabani took up temporary residence in a pop-space in the heart of Notting Hill's iconic Portobello. She showcased a mix of the Jaama series 2018 and kiln fresh work from her most current Blowing in the Wind series. She used the space as a studio to make new work. The show was almost completely sold out with work traveling to collectors in the UK, Portugal and Germany

Willesden Gallery - Making Marks

Dates: 29th January -9th February 2019

January 2019 saw the launch of debut solo show Making Marks at Willesden Gallery which was an ensemble of 2D print and 3D sculpture. The show was extremely well received and attended by audiences from diverse mix of backgrounds and ages. 

 

On show for the first time, a number of works from the collection have now been placed in private collections in the UK and the Far East.
